Hopper Real Estate Leaders Surpasses $1.5 Billion in Sales

Since opening in Brandon in 2014, Hopper Real Estate Leaders has closed more than $1.5 billion in homes and land across Central Mississippi. A look at what the milestone represents and the clients behind it.

By Josh Williamson, Managing Broker, Hopper Real Estate Leaders

Hopper Real Estate Leaders has crossed a milestone more than a decade in the making: over $1.5 billion in closed home and land sales since the brokerage opened its doors in 2014. The number is a measure of something simpler than it sounds, which is the thousands of Central Mississippi families who trusted a local, independent team with the biggest moves of their lives.

"When we started Hopper 12 years ago, our vision was simple: build a brokerage known for our integrity, faith in God, hard work, and results. Surpassing $1.5 billion in sales is a reflection of that commitment and the incredible people who have helped us grow. We've accomplished a lot over the past 12 years, but I firmly believe our best years are still ahead."

Paul Hopper, Principal Broker and founder, Hopper Real Estate Leaders

Here is what the milestone represents, and how an independent brokerage produced big time results.

Hopper team celebrates over $1.5 Billion in lifetime sales since opening its doors in 2014.

The milestone at a glance

  • More than $1.5 billion in closed home and land sales since 2014
  • Offices located in Brandon and Madison, Mississippi, locally owned and independent
  • 40+ agents serving Rankin County, Madison County, and all of Central Mississippi
  • Homes and land, from first homes and new construction to acreage, farms, and hunting tracts

What does $1.5 billion in sales represent?

More than a decade of closings across Central Mississippi. That figure covers first-time buyers stepping into starter homes in Pearl and Florence, families moving up in Brandon and Madison, buyers of new construction around Gluckstadt, and sellers of everything from in-town homes to large rural tracts across the State of Mississippi. It is homes and land in equal measure, which has been the brokerage's hallmark from the start.

A number that size is really a record of relationships. Every closing behind it is a family that bought a first home, sold a longtime property, or found the piece of land they had been looking for, and chose a local team to get them there.

How did an independent Brandon brokerage reach $1.5 billion?

Hopper opened in 2014 as a locally owned, independent brokerage, and that has not changed. No national franchise, no out-of-state headquarters, just agents who were raised in Central Mississippi and know it firsthand. Over the years the team has grown to more than 40 agents while keeping the local, relationship-first approach it started with.

The other half of the story is range. Most brokerages in this region lean one direction, either residential or land. Hopper built its business on doing both well, at volume, which has let the brokerage serve the full Central Mississippi market rather than a single slice of it. That balance is a big part of how the numbers added up to $1.5 billion.

What does this milestone mean for buyers and sellers?

Experience, and a lot of it. A brokerage does not close more than $1.5 billion in homes and land without seeing nearly every kind of transaction the market produces, from straightforward home sales to complicated land deals involving access, utilities, and acreage. For a buyer or seller, that track record is the reassurance that the team has handled a situation like theirs before.

It also means local depth. The agents here live in the communities they serve, from Brandon and Flowood to Madison, Ridgeland, and the rural counties beyond, and that local knowledge shows up in pricing, negotiation, and knowing a market block by block.

The pace is not slowing, either. The third quarter of 2026 was Hopper's strongest quarter of the year, with nearly $56 million in homes and land closed across Central Mississippi, a sign that the momentum behind this milestone is still building.
