Chad Segrest

Few people bring a more diverse business background to real estate than Chad Segrest. From designing commercial landscapes and owning successful restaurants to building lifelong relationships throughout Central Mississippi, every chapter of his career has centered on serving people, solving problems, and creating lasting value.

Growing up in Port Gibson, Mississippi, Chad developed an early love for the outdoors that continues to shape both his personal life and his approach to real estate today. After graduating from Jackson Preparatory School, he attended Mississippi State University, where he studied Landscape Architecture and earned a degree in Landscape Contracting while building lifelong friendships and meeting his future wife, Mary Katherine.

Chad began his career in landscape design and commercial contracting, managing projects throughout Mississippi for both public and private clients. His work included high-end residential properties, commercial developments, government facilities, educational campuses, and large-scale construction projects. Those experiences gave him a unique understanding of property development, project management, and the vision required to recognize a property's full potential.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, Chad later transitioned into business ownership, opening and operating Beagle Bagel in Madison and Atlas restaurants in Jackson and Clinton. Owning and growing multiple businesses strengthened his leadership, negotiation, and customer service skills while allowing him to build relationships across Central Mississippi that continue to benefit his clients today.

Today, Chad has come full circle, combining his business experience, knowledge of land and development, and passion for the outdoors to help clients buy and sell residential homes, land, recreational property, and investment real estate throughout Central Mississippi. He believes every successful transaction begins with listening, continues through honest communication, and ends with a client who feels confident they made the right decision.

Outside of real estate, Chad enjoys spending time outdoors, researching waterfowl and wildlife, working in his garage, and following the baseball careers of his sons, Camp and Nash. He and Mary Katherine have made Madison home, where they continue to stay active in their community and enjoy spending time together.
